A Lifelong Connection
As a Ward 2 Candidate for re-election as Town Councillor, Ray's roots in Oakville run deep.
He's a life-long resident, husband and grandfather of 6 little future Oakville residents.
Ray has served as Oakville's Ward 2 Town Councillor since 2016. He continues to play a strong, active role in speaking up on behalf of residents in local issues that affect their daily lives.

Experience at Work
Ray's successful career with the Town of Oakville as Manager of Recreation Services meant participation in the development of new community facilities, shaping policy changes and providing meaningful input on programs and services designed to provide and support the high quality Oakville residents expected.
That background gave Ray the kind of first-hand experience and insight into municipal government that was needed when, following his retirement from the Town, he successfully ran for Council in 2016. It has paid off for his constituents over the past 10 years of Ray's role as Ward 2's Town Councillor.
